Summer has been playing a bit of hide and seek here so when a beautiful day decides to present itself one really appreciates it. As I was taking these pics Madonna’s lyrics to Ray of Light were running through my mind “And I feel like I just got home, and I feel…She got herself a little piece of heaven.” Yep on this day I certainly did have my very own piece of heaven.

I once saw this picture of Solange Knowles wearing the dopest tribal necklace I have ever seen! Being that she is one of Style Icons I was #1 instantly in love and #2 wondered how I could emulate a look like that but with “my everyday glam girl” vibe attached. I was happy with the results.

Blue My Mind

It’s no secret that I LOVE the color blue! It makes me happy when skies are grey…literally. I was beyond ecstatic when I came across these cobalt blue pants by Vince. At first I was unsure what to pair them with & then I remmebered I had this blouse my Madewell. My new blue sunnies matched perfectly with today’s outfit too! Voila! I love when that happens!

There are so many aMAZEing secret hideouts in NYC! You might walk down a certain block everyday and never notice a particular restaurant or hotel. Tribal Accents

I happened to be shopping one of my favorite stores of all time, Target, and came across these sick tribal sandals. At first I was hesitant because they were not on my list but my girl convinced me otherwise. I am so in LOVE with these sandals!!! I knew immediately what I would rock with them once I got them home. Bare Legs

This Girl’s Got Bite

I’m the type of girl that lets my clothes do the talking for me. Each day I wake up and say “Tamra what do you feel like wearing, what mood are you in today?” (This is probably why I’m a little late to work some mornings because the mood may not hit me until 10 minutes before I have to walk out the door). I’ve been dying to wear my Rottweiler tee by Givenchy, it was a total come up! Spring Fever

It’s official. New Yorkers have caught Spring Fever and are enjoying this beautiful weather! Today I was able to walk outside without a jacket and eat outside for lunch. Again I say beautiful weather makes me smile big. Someone said it was because I’m country, well I like to think its because I’m a summer baby from the south. Ha!
